El Questro Station, Windham & Lake Argyle

El Questro Situated 100km west of Kununurra it is a cattle station which caters for the tourist. Was $600 per night at the homestead or in self contained Bungalows and $15 per head at the campsite. Thermal pool springs surround the area.

Wyndham is situated 3068km from Perth situated at the base of the Cambridge Gulf, It is the most northerly town and harbour in Western Australia. 

The Ord river and Lake Argyle. This is a Hydro electric power plant which supplies the whole area with electricity.

Lake Argyle is 72km south on Parker Road and was created by damming the Ord River. Rugged Islands have formed which home Kangaroos, Wallabies and birds.

OK. Here we are at Wyndham  Known as the home of the BIG CROC.  What you see is H standing under the Crocodiles head. Lucky this monster is so large he cannot see her or she would get eaten.

 or the start of the dam at lake Argyle.

Also at Argyle. Behind the team you can see the Dam wall. This lake created by the damming of the Ord River.
